Dr. Larrauri recently completed his Ph.D. in computational neuroscience at Duke University. He is a new post-doc in the program, and will direct studies examining the neurobiological mechanisms underlying problems with heightened emotional arousal. This work includes pilot studies using pre-pulse inhibition paradigms in humans and studies in collaboration with Drs. Ed Levin and Nestor Schmajuk using animal models.
