Jacqueline Bagwell, M.S.
Jacquie graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2008 with a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology, with an emphasis in psychiatric disabilities. She is the study coordinator on three new studies. In one study funded by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, she coordinates a project examining maladaptive emotion regulation in those who attempt suicide. In another project funded by the Duke University Provost's Common Fund, she coordinates a pilot study developing a fully immersive virtual environment-based behavioral marker of emotion regulation. Finally, on a recently funded project from the Department of Defense, Jacquie is coordinating efforts to launch a study designed to evaluate a new behavioral treatment for veterans with PTSD and addiction that uses virtual reality and cellular phones to improve exposure therapy.
